BIMBO, the famous deer of Fishers, was seized by DNR yesterday. Bimbo was found next to the side of the road when he was a baby, near a lot of traffic. So they took the deer home and cared for it. They thought the deer would run off but he began to form a bond with their huskies. One was like a mother ( Cari) to Bimbo, also slept next to Bimbo in a nice warm soft bed every night, and the other (Lobo)was his partner in crime. The community is really upset over the seizing of the beloved deer, Bimbo. It was nice seeing a little happiness after a rough year. Bimbo was free to come and go as he pleased. They never chained him up or forced him to stay. He learned to use the doggie door from the huskies. Bimbo chose Trixi and Saul and their huskies. Sometimes you can't help who you love, and that deer choose his family, his pack. Bimbo was not kept against his will and had the opportunity to leave for the wild anytime he wanted to. Please help by signing this petition to bring Bimbo back to his family. Hes probably very scared. Hes currently at a rehabilitation facility. Re- releasing Bimbo, isn't what Bimbo wants, he kept coming back on his own. Hes not scared of people, and hes not scared of dogs making him a huge target to be hurt or killed in the wild.
Cari and Lobo have been looking for the rest of their family. They miss him and I know he misses them just as much. They feel like part of their family was taken away. So please, let's try to bring Bimbo home... where he belongs. Sign and share please!
