East Syracuse dog groomers offer free services for shelter dogs amid pandemic

EAST SYRACUSE, N.Y. — An East Syracuse dog groomer is offering free services to Helping Hounds and Second Chance Animal Shelters after the shelters were hit so hard amid the pandemic.

The owner of Pampered Pups and Wiggle Butts, Sarah Rubenstein said she received a recent donation of $5,000 and had turned around to pay-it-forward to the Second Chance Animal Shelter with necessities for the animals in that shelter.

Anyone who wants to help can do so just by bringing their dog there to be groomed and a portion of those funds from each dog groomed will go to help shelter dogs.

Pampered Pups and Wiggle Butts is located at 6801 Kinney Street.
