In 2017, Nepali Prakriti Malla’s life changed forever. However, before she became known in her country and around the world, she was already a source of pride and praise in her family, schoolmates and teachers. That’s because this young girl, who at the time was 9 years old, had perfect penmanship.

One can learn to have a good spelling, but when it comes to drawing each letter and aesthetically putting together each word, it’s very difficult to imagine anyone surpassing Prakriti.

She was a young student from Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya, who became a celebrity in her country, receiving awards from the Armed Forces of Nepal for her distinguished and beautiful calligraphy. In a world where people write less and less by hand due to new technologies and now, during the pandemic, online classes, Prakriti’s case fills many people who’ve dedicated years to studying language and letters with hope.

Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya’s little student became a celebrity in her country, receiving awards from the Armed Forces of Nepal for her distinguished and beautiful calligraphy. Today, she’s 14 years old.

Prakriti Malla managed to amaze people from all over the world with her incredible calligraphy skills. Including people with PhDs in the subject, such as Kirstin Ferguson, who congratulated her and shared her case on her Twitter account.

Her handwriting is worthy of admiration and envy. She’s been improving through teaching and training her fine motor skills in her school’s classrooms.
